2010 Mercury Milan Review

Overview

The 2010 Mercury Milan is a four-door mid-size sedan based on the Ford CD3 platform. The new Milan receives significant updates that include new front and rear fascias, revised wheel designs, and a redesigned dashboard. It is available in base (I-4) and Premier (Premier, Premier V6 and Premier V6 AWD) trim levels. An all-new hybrid version is also offered for 2010.

Power and performance

Three engine types are offered on the 2010 Mercury Milan. The base I-4 and Premier trims get a standard 2.5-liter Duratec Inline four-cylinder engine. A 3.0-liter Duratec 24-valve V6 engine comes with the Premier V6 and Premier V6 AWD models, while a 2.5L Atkinson I-4 hybrid engine is used by the Milan hybrid version. Transmissions available include - a six-speed manual on the base model, six-speed automatic on the Premier trim, six-speed selectshift automatic on Premier V6/V6 AWD, and CVT automatic on the hybrid model.

Body and styling

The 2010 Mercury Milan features innumerable standard exterior and interior facilities. The base wears 16-inch aluminum wheels, while other trim levels and hybrid version have standard 17-inch aluminum wheels. Fold-down front passenger seat; front row center console armrest storage; overhead console; six cup holders; rear window defroster; message center; cabin air filtration system; day/night interior rearview mirror; map pockets; leather-wrapped steering wheel with tilt/telescopic function and mounted cruise and audio controls; IP panel storage bin, grocery bag hooks in trunk, front door storage pockets; power door locks; battery saver; driver and front passenger dual illuminated visors with mirrors; easy fuel capless fuel filler; LED taillamps; body-colored door handles; satin aluminum grille; power windows with illuminated switches, one-touch down feature on driver's window; solar tinted glass; roof-mounted antenna; power-adjustable, heated, body-color sideview mirrors with security approach lamps; and SIRIUS satellite radio with 6-month pre-paid subscription are key standard features offered on all 2010 Milan models.
